Protocols of Sovereignty

1. The Mission

TheThornedRose acts as a digital sanctuary and bridge for artists who are marginalized, incarcerated, or otherwise separated from the sovereign digital economy. Our purpose is the transmutation of archival assets into blockchain-verified property.

2. Agency & Representation

All works featured in the Archive are curated by Julide. By agreement with the original creators (hereafter “The Artists”), Julide maintains the exclusive right to tokenize, market, and manage these assets. This platform serves as the legal and digital “Home Office” for artists currently in stasis.

3. Digital Ownership (NFTs)

• The Token: Purchasing an NFT from TheThornedRose grants the buyer ownership of the unique digital token on the blockchain.
• The Copyright: Unless explicitly stated, the Artist (and their estate) retains the copyright and intellectual property rights.
• The Provenance: Every asset is cross-referenced with its original archive to ensure absolute authenticity and legacy protection.

4. Ethical Flow of Funds

Proceeds from sales are managed by the Curator. A 10% Secondary Royalty is hard-coded into every smart contract to ensure the “Revolving Door” of support remains open for the artist’s future reintegration.

Article 1: The Collective Mission TheThornedRose is a digital sanctuary for marginalized artists. A minimum of 25.5% of all initial sales is dedicated to social impact: 16.5% to Mass Liberation (CA), and 9% to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (NV).

Article 2: Revenue & Reinvestment 66% of all revenue is retained by TheThornedRose.com for asset collection, scaling, and the Mutual Fund for Artists. This ensures the platform can provide a living wage to its contributors.

Article 3: The Founding Team Management is led by Julide (COO/CFO & Directing Manager) and Billy (CEO & Visionary Architect). Salaries are drawn from the 33% reinvestment pool.

Article 4: Artist Rights & Compensation Artists are compensated as “Team Members.” We do not charge artists for services; we provide the bridge. Revenue is generated through corporate partnerships and NFT sales.

5. Governance

TheThornedRose reserves the right to refuse representation to works that do not align with our frequency of liberation and resilience. We are a sanctuary, not a marketplace for exploitation.
